Senior Low Latency Dev

We are seeking an experienced Senior Low Latency Developer with deep expertise in low-level C++ development to join our client's team based in Hong Kong. This critical role will focus on enhancing our market access systems to support high-performance trading, with a special emphasis on the evolving cryptocurrency landscape.

In this position, you will play a key role in the development and optimisation of systems designed for low-latency and high-frequency trading. You will work in close partnership with traders and researchers to meet the dynamic requirements of cryptocurrency market activities through well-designed, high-performance, and reliable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop low-latency trading systems in C++ on Linux platforms.
• Improve system performance through advanced optimisation and tuning techniques.
• Work directly with crypto trading teams to integrate trading strategies into market access systems.
• Partner with system administrators and network teams to optimise deployment and distribution of trading applications.
• Utilise cloud technologies and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Contribute to continuous innovation across trading infrastructure to maintain a competitive edge in crypto markets.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Expert knowledge of C++ development, particularly in low-latency and performance-critical environments.
• Extensive experience with Linux systems and systems programming.
• Background in developing market access systems, ideally within cryptocurrency or high-frequency trading domains.
• Strong understanding of system optimisation, parallel programming, and hardware efficiency.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, containerisation, and continuous integration tools.
• Good knowledge of cryptocurrency products and digital asset markets is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
