We are seeking a proactive individual to play a key role in the support and development of Global Markets applications within our client's Singapore-based technology function. The successful candidate will ensure business needs are met effectively while maintaining high standards of service and compliance across multiple applications and systems.
The role involves managing the day-to-day application support, collaborating with international teams, and contributing to a stable production environment. You will engage with global stakeholders, support development initiatives, and drive continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintenance of Global Markets and Operations applications.
- Ensure a stable, efficient, and risk-controlled production environment.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to manage dependencies and interfaces.
- Investigate and resolve incidents in line with operational risk procedures.
- Develop solutions and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Participate in Business Book of Work and prioritisation meetings.
- Maintain compliance with internal standards and policies.
- Support new product integration, standby coverage, and client queries.
Required Skills and Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science or relevant IT discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services or banking sector.
- Experience in incident management and risk mitigation.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional, international teams.
- Experience in Business Analysis and Case Management.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, IT operations, and process management.
- Working knowledge of Front Office and Operations technology.
- Familiarity with international and domestic banking practices.
