We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Financial Lines Broker to join our dynamic insurance team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of Financial Lines accounts, including Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Indemnity, Cyber Liability, and related products. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of financial and professional risks.
Key responsibilities include identifying client needs, advising on suitable coverage options, placing complex risks in the local and international markets, and maintaining strong relationships with underwriters and clients. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent delivery of first-class broking solutions and risk advisory services. The role also involves contributing to the improvement of broking practices, staying abreast of market developments, and supporting business development initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Lines insurance, either from a broking or underwriting background. Strong client-servicing abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential. A good understanding of regulatory requirements in Singapore and experience handling complex corporate accounts will be highly advantageous.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Lines insurance.
- Proven experience in broking or underwriting in a similar role.
- Strong technical understanding of Financial Lines products including D&O, PI, and Cyber Liability.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local insurance regulations and compliance standards.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, ANZIIF) are desirable.
