We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven individual for the position of Director, Partnership Development within the insurance industry. Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying, initiating, and managing strategic partnerships that enhance our organisation’s growth and competitive positioning. This senior leadership role requires a combination of commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and deep industry knowledge to drive successful collaboration initiatives across the region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating new business opportunities, negotiating agreements, and fostering long-term, value-driven relationships with both external and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Distribution to ensure seamless integration and alignment of partnership initiatives with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end deal-making processes including due diligence, contract negotiation, and execution.
- Develop and manage strategic partner relationships to ensure value creation and sustained engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and performance of partnership initiatives.
- Conduct market landscape assessments to identify trends and opportunities for strategic alliances.
- Provide regular reporting and performance assessments to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in partnership development, business development, or strategic alliances, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of the insurance ecosystem, including digital and insurtech trends.
- Proven track record in leading complex negotiations and managing high-value, strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and partners.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial judgement, and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regional regulations and compliance requirements relevant to insurance partnerships.
Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 180,000 per annum
