We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Setup & Transfer Agency - Service Delivery Officer for a 1-year contract role based in Singapore. This role is critical in ensuring the effective and accurate setup of new funds, as well as the smooth operation of transfer agency processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in fund administration, with a strong understanding of regulatory and operational processes within the asset management industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end onboarding of new funds, ensuring accurate data capture, documentation review, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, you will support the wider transfer agency team with client servicing, transaction processing, and reporting tasks to deliver high-quality service to clients and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of fund setup activities, including onboarding documentation, data setup, and internal coordination.
- Liaise with internal departments, custodians, fund managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate fund launches.
- Support transfer agency operations including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and distributions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies during all setup and transaction processes.
- Maintain and update fund and client records using transfer agency systems and databases.
- Assist in preparing regular and ad hoc reports for clients and internal teams.
- Handle client enquiries professionally and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in fund administration or transfer agency operations, preferably within asset management or financial services.
- Understanding of fund structures, including UCITS, mutual funds, alternative investments, and regulatory requirements is essential.
- Strong knowledge of transfer agency processes, including investor onboarding, AML/KYC, and transaction processing.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with fund administration systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
