Project Manager AVP Life Insurance

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager – AVP with a deep understanding of life insurance operations and processes. Based in Central Singapore, this mid-senior level role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to lead and deliver critical projects aligned with strategic organisational goals. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of project management principles and a demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of multiple life insurance-related projects across various functions.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation and progress reports using project management tools.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business needs while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships when external solutions or services are involved.
• Ensure continuous improvement and post-implementation reviews are conducted to identify lessons learned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products, operations, and regulatory standards in Singapore.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
