Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Banker to join their team in Singapore. As a valued member of their wealth management division, you will be responsible for providing bespoke financial solutions and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and families. Your role will involve building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients through a personalized and professional approach to banking and wealth management.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of private banking products and services, including portfolio management, tax planning, estate planning, investment advisory and credit solutions. A strong network of contacts and a demonstrated track record of asset growth and client acquisition are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and grow a portfolio of HNWI clients by offering tailored financial solutions.
  • Provide expert advice on investment strategy, wealth structuring, and risk management.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists and cross-functional teams to meet clients’ holistic banking needs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and risk management requirements.
  • Identify new business opportunities through referrals and market research.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management or a related financial advisory role.
  • Proven track record in managing HNW clients and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks in Singapore.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and able to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous, particularly in regional languages.
