Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Bank Executive (Assistant Relationship Manager) to support their Relationship Managers in delivering exceptional banking services to high-net-worth individuals. Based in Singapore, this role offers an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the private banking sector, providing excellent client service and operational support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day administration of client accounts, ensuring smooth execution of transactions and maintaining high standards of compliance and operational accuracy. You will act as a liaison between the Relationship Managers and various internal departments, helping to coordinate client onboarding, documentation, and the provision of holistic banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support for Relationship Managers in managing client accounts and transactions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of account opening, maintenance and closures.
- Ensure that all client documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in preparing client reviews, reports, and summaries for Relationship Managers.
- Follow up with clients on outstanding documentation and service requests.
- Support the execution of investment orders, foreign exchange transactions, and other banking operations.
- Monitor and track client instructions, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of service.
- Ensure all activities are conducted with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services, preferably in a client support function.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and operations relevant to high-net-worth clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client service orientation.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling transactions and documentation.
- Good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, including KYC, AML, and FATCA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with banking systems and CRM platforms an advantage.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise work efficiently, and operate under pressure.
- Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is advantageous.
