Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Onshore Insurance Specialist to join their team based in Singapore. This role requires a professional with exceptional insurance industry insight, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex portfolios and provide tailored solutions to clients in line with onshore regulations and standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on a full spectrum of insurance products, ensuring compliance with local regulatory frameworks, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive, client-centric solutions. Your key focus will be to develop trusted relationships with high-net-worth and corporate clients, identify and mitigate risk exposure, and support their financial goals through effective management of insurance portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a range of onshore insurance products, including life, general, and health insurance.
  • Customise insurance solutions based on clients’ financial situations and future objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure all advice and transactions comply with MAS regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with underwriters, legal teams, and claims departments to deliver seamless service to clients.
  • Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, offering ongoing support and advice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Insurance or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably onshore insurance in Singapore.
  • Strong understanding of insurance regulations and compliance standards in Singapore.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIIB, CMFAS (M5, M9, M9A, HI) preferred.
  • Proven ability to assess insurance needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex products clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
