Islamic Wealth Management Specialist (IWS) offers expert Shariah-compliant financial advice, manages client portfolios and helps grow the Islamic wealth business. Incumbent has to build strong client relationships, provide personalized guidance, review portfolios regularly, educate clients and staff, identify new opportunities and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers in joint meetings to provide portfolio advice, market perspectives, and investment proposals.
- Support business expansion by identifying new opportunities and growing the client base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their financial goals and offering tailored Islamic Wealth Management solutions.
- Hold regular meetings with clients to review their portfolios, respond to questions, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Promote awareness and provide education on Islamic Wealth Management (IWM) offerings.
- Share timely market insights and accurate product details with clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of clients’ investment portfolios.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
- Provide continuous training to Relationship Managers on IWM products and solutions.
- Adhoc duties such as NTB sourcing
Requirements
- Demonstrates a strong interest in and solid understanding of economics and financial markets, with a specific focus on Islamic Wealth Management.
- Min 2 years of experience in Islamic Wealth Management or related financial advisory roles
- Highly knowledgeable in wealth advisory, with in-depth expertise in the five pillars of Islamic Wealth Management, particularly Pillars 4 and 5.
- Possesses M1, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M9 & M9A.
- Certification in Islamic Finance (e.g. CIMA, CIFE, CIFP) is highly desirable
