VP, Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineering, (Cybersecurity Platform Engineer), Technology Group

The VP, Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineering, (Cybersecurity Platform Engineer) plays a key role in identifying and recommending improvements to existing enterprise security architecture to address changing cybersecurity threats. The position involves aligning business requirements with cybersecurity, information, and technology needs based on the organisation’s risk appetite.

Role Overview
The VP will evaluate, design, build, and implement advanced cybersecurity systems. They will develop integrated security operating models to ensure operational efficiency and scalability and act as a domain expert and trusted partner in cybersecurity and resilience. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across technology and business groups to address cybersecurity engineering matters.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Identify and recommend improvements in enterprise security architecture.
  • Align business, cybersecurity, and technology requirements based on risk appetite.
  • Evaluate and implement enterprise cybersecurity systems including EDR, NDR, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIPs, and email security solutions.
  • Develop and operationalize threat exposure management programs and frameworks.
  • Demonstrate experience with cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Possess scripting and coding skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages, with knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
  • Produce detailed documentation, including design diagrams and process flows.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Hold professional information security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and recommend enhancements to enterprise security architecture.
  • Evaluate, design, and implement enterprise cybersecurity systems.
  • Develop security operating models and documentation for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders on cybersecurity engineering matters.
  • Manage and operationalize threat exposure management frameworks.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years in Cyber Security or Information Security.
  • Proven experience with enterprise cybersecurity platforms and operationalizing CTEM programs.
  • Knowledge of cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Scripting and programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar, with understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
  • Available to work on-site for a duration of two weeks, commencing on 19/08/2026.
