This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a consultancy firm in Singapore specialising in financial services. The role is available on a 6-month contract basis and offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment focused on fund operations and investment administration. The successful candidate will become a part of a team responsible for managing fund-related financial processes, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and supporting institutional clients and fund managers.
The candidate will be involved in ensuring accurate and timely processing of all transactions. Responsibilities also include funding payment and settlement of investments, handling capital calls and distributions, and supporting private equity fund of fund investment activities. A strong client service mindset is essential, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments and maintain effective internal communication. The role also involves efficient administration and accurate calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) for funds under management. Candidates are expected to contribute to smooth day-to-day operations and foster team support throughout the contract period.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner for fund managers and institutional clients
- Coordinate efficient funding processes for payment and settlement of purchases
- Process capital calls and distributions for investment funds
- Support and manage private equity fund of fund investment activities
- Deliver optimal levels of client service and uphold quality standards
- Manage administration and valuation tasks to ensure accurate NAV calculations
- Facilitate regular communication with inter-department teams to support operational efficiency
- Perform all assigned duties to ensure smooth daily fund operations
Candidate Requirements:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the finance industry
- Prior experience in fund accounting is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and financial systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
