We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning / AI Ops Engineer to join our client's on-site team based in Central Singapore. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative AI and ML solutions that enhance the performance and usability of engineering tools. You will work at the cutting edge of software development and research, exploring the dynamic intersection of artificial intelligence, software engineering, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct applied research integrating AI and LLM techniques into software engineering processes.
  • Develop and test prototypes to demonstrate new methodologies in code quality and testing.
  • Collect, prepare, and process large-scale datasets of code for training and fine-tuning large language models.
  • Implement pipelines for scalable and high-quality dataset collection and model training.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure research outcomes are effectively integrated into products.
  • Stay up to date with advances in AI, ML, and developer tooling to inform the roadmap and deliver innovation quickly.
  • Participate in code reviews and establish DevOps best practices across the development lifecycle.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in ML/AI engineering, especially within software development contexts.
  • Proficient in research, algorithm development, and systems integration.
  • Experience with generative AI tools such as GPT-4 or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in Python and R with strong debugging and optimisation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with program synthesis, AI-assisted code generation, and automated testing techniques.
  • Sound understanding of software engineering principles and development workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
