We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Senior Associate with expertise in our client's team and deep knowledge of technology risk and audit practices. Based in Singapore, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where technology resilience, governance, and information security are paramount.
As an IT Audit Senior Associate, you will:
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise across a broad range of technology domains including infrastructure, cloud systems, applications, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and execute end-to-end audit processes including risk assessments, planning, fieldwork, reporting, and validation of audit issues within scheduled timelines.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, providing risk insights and guidance on governance and control matters relating to business transformation or change initiatives.
- Design and implement effective action plans and offer recommendations to mitigate complex control issues using sound judgment and expertise.
- Regularly monitor business activities, offering proactive input into emerging risks and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Develop and present audit findings and ensure appropriate remediation actions are in place.
- Uphold ethical conduct while identifying and transparently reporting control weaknesses, weighing legal and regulatory compliance considerations in decisions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CEH, or CGEIT are advantageous.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 9001) is a plus.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in IT auditing, with a strong background in infrastructure and cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
- Proven competence in data governance, secure infrastructure design, application development life cycles, and production management within cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks including vulnerability management, malware protection, incident response, intrusion detection, and crisis management.
- Experience in data analytics and an understanding of source code is highly desirable.
- Adaptability and a proactive attitude toward additional project assignments.
- Willingness to travel 30% – 50% of the time in line with business requirements.
