Overview
We are seeking a Finance and Treasury Analyst to support financial operations and treasury activities within an asset management and family office environment. This role focuses on cash and liquidity management, banking administration, financial reporting support, and process improvement, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily cash positions, monitor balances, and produce short- and medium-term cashflow forecasts.
- Execute and monitor payments, ensuring appropriate approvals, segregation of duties, and strong controls.
- Manage banking relationships, user access, mandates, KYC documentation, and account maintenance.
- Support treasury operations including FX execution support, confirmations, settlement tracking, and variance investigation.
- Assist with month-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, intercompany balances, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare management reporting packs and financial analyses (e.g., OPEX tracking, trend analysis, and variance commentary).
- Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and tax advisers to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain treasury and finance policies, improve workflows, and enhance controls and documentation.
- Support ad hoc projects such as system implementations, process automation, and portfolio/company-level financial reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years’ relevant experience in treasury and/or finance operations within asset management, private wealth, or family offices.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, bank reconciliations, payment controls, and treasury processes.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis); experience with accounting/ERP systems is preferred.
- Understanding of IFRS and month-end close processes; experience supporting audits is advantageous.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with banks and external service providers.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA) are an advantage but not essential.

You will be hands-on, controls-minded, and comfortable working across multiple entities and bank accounts. A proactive mindset and continuous improvement approach are essential.
