We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our client, a global leader in the insurance industry. This position requires a strong understanding of non-life insurance products and a desire to contribute meaningfully to a growing corporate portfolio. The ideal candidate will be sales driven, adaptable, and ready to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities within a high performing and collaborative team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients, and delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet complex commercial needs. You will collaborate closely with underwriters, claims specialists, and other internal stakeholders to ensure client requirements are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial P&C insurance market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers.
- Provide expert advice on commercial risk exposures and structure appropriate insurance programmes.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Manage the end-to-end client broking process from initial consultation through to policy delivery and renewal.
- Stay informed on market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments.
- Contribute to the firm's annual growth targets and client retention objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial P&C insurance broking, preferably within the Singapore market.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products across sectors such as property, casualty, liability, and industrial risks.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g. ACII, ANZIIF) are highly desirable.
- Possess a valid Singapore insurance broking licence or be eligible to obtain one.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with insurance broking systems and CRM tools.
