Aviation Broker

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Broker to join our Specialty Insurance client in Singapore.

This role will involve managing a portfolio of aviation insurance clients, ranging from private aircraft owners to commercial airline operators and aerospace manufacturers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tailored insurance solutions, negotiating complex risk placements with underwriters, and maintaining strong client relationships across the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of aviation insurance clients, including private and commercial sectors.
• Develop tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs.
• Negotiate complex risk placements with underwriters.
• Conduct full client servicing, including risk presentations and policy placements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the aviation industry.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and market requirements.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks for clients.
• Collaborate with underwriters to deliver competitive coverage options.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aviation insurance broking or underwriting. Relevant aviation industry experience will also be considered.
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACII or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Technical expertise aviation insurance products, including hull and liability coverage, airport liability, and aerospace product liability insurance.
• Familiarity with global aviation insurance markets, including Lloyd’s of London, is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and broking platforms.
• Proven track record in business development and client retention.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional Asian languages is a plus.
