Join our client, a prominent reinsurer, and kickstart your journey as a Regional Valuation Actuary! This role presents you with the opportunity to delve into the complexities of model valuation, solvency monitoring, and financial reporting across diverse markets. You will play a critical role in assessing financial health and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing regional financial reporting and analysis (i.e IFRS17, Solvency 2, local statutory)
- Calculating reserves and capital requirements
- Executing model enhancements, developments, stress tests and analysis
- Ensuring compliance with actuarial standards and regulatory requirements
The ideal candidate should be/have:
- A qualified actuary with a recognised professional body
- More than 4 years of experience in a relevant field
- Strong knowledge of life actuarial workstreams, including MCEV, Solvency II, IFRS
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Superb communication skills
