Trading Solution IT Specialist

They seek a Trading Solution Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis, offering on-site work in an environment focused on collaboration and technological excellence. This role involves supporting the implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of trading systems, working closely with both internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless operation of trading platforms. The position is vital in enabling the company's trading infrastructure to operate efficiently, helping to maintain high standards of reliability and client satisfaction.
Role Overview:
The Trading Solution IT Specialist plays a key role in deploying, supporting, and optimizing trading platforms and systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, providing expert technical support and ensuring smooth system integration and functionality.
Key Skills & Experience:
• At least 7 years of experience in trading technology, financial systems implementation, or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of trading platforms, OMS/EMS, algorithmic trading, market data feeds, and FIX protocol
• Programming proficiency in Python, C++, or Java
• Solid understanding of financial markets, trading workflows, and regulatory environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related discipline
• Detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients to gather and understand trading requirements
• Design, configure, and deploy tailored trading platforms and systems
• Provide technical support during onboarding and throughout the trading lifecycle
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to trading systems efficiently
• Partner with developers, analysts, and vendors to integrate solutions with existing infrastructure and APIs
• Conduct thorough testing for system reliability, accuracy, and compliance
• Develop user guides, training materials, and conduct client training sessions
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies
• Recommend system enhancements and new solution opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and support sales teams with upselling or cross-selling initiatives
