Role Overview
The DevOps Engineer will integrate into a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing and deploying scalable, resilient cloud architectures. Reporting to senior technical leads, success in this role involves delivering automated, secure infrastructure solutions aligned with cloud provider best practices. The engineer will support ongoing improvements and ensure high availability of cloud-based services in an international setting.
Key Skills & Experience
- Propose and implement advanced cloud architectures, especially with AWS and Google
- Build and configure development tools and infrastructure
- Support infrastructure as code practices with automation and security in mind
- Ensure infrastructure resilience, avoiding single points of failure
- Continuously optimise cloud setup, automation, and maintenance processes

Requirements
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Linux systems management
- Proven experience in Kubernetes
- Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash
- Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar)
- Solid experience with at least a programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP)
- Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
- Experience in the configuration, management and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and Non SQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others) and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar)
- Experience working as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast paced environment
- Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment
- Experience with AWS
- Automation experience in micro-service/SOA architecture
The following skills are not mandatory but will be valued
- Experience with ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Argo Workflows, Argo Events, FluxCD, Tekton
- Knowledge about Kyverno, OPA (Open Policy Agent)
- Experience with the implementation of a Service Mesh (such as Istio, Linkerd, Kong Mesh)
- Knowledge about Crossplane, AWS's ACK, Google's Config Connector, Azure's ASO
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, Grafana's Tanka, VMWare's carvel ytt
- Experience with Kubernetes backup tools like Velero
- Experience with Vault
