They are looking for a Senior Operations Manager who has hands on experience leading large teams and managing MSP (Managed Service Providers).
Aside from great soft skills, you will have an understanding of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba cloud, O365), VMWare Virtualization, security technologies, and operating on Linux & Wintel Systems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 100+ people from MSP.
- Ensure datacenter infrastructure and its services are up and running and meeting SLAs.
- Ensure that daily IT operations and service delivery are properly executed.
- Incident/Change and Problem management on areas of expertise .
- Responsible for projects scoping and delivery.
- Animate weekly technical operational committees with suppliers and outsourced contract.
You should have:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in system admin role.
- Essential experience with MSP (Managed service providers).
- Prior leadership/team lead experience.
- Excellent vendor management skills.
- Sharp critical thinking abilities.
- Written and spoken English is mandatory.
Your technical expertise:
- Experience with large-scale international enterprise infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Nutanix, HPE Servers, VMware Virtualization, Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with EMC Storage array, Commvault backup solution, and various security technologies including EDR, Vulnerability Management etc. .
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, AlibabaCloud, and Office 365.
- Experience with monitoring tools
