Peter has over 20 years of recruitment experience. He started his career at Huxley Associates where he became the top permanent IT Consultant globally in a company of 200+ consultants. Following this success, Peter was given the responsibility of starting a Hong Kong office which he soon grew to 25 staff.
Peter then founded his own firm, Atlas Global Search, and after a successful 4 years it was acquired by Gravitas and Peter took on the role of Senior Director. Since joining Gravitas, Peter has helped grow the Hong Kong team from 25 to 70+ employees and in July 2023, Peter became Country Director of both offices in Greater China. In 2024 he was promoted to Asia Managing Director, overseeing our offices in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Singapore.
One of the things Peter loves about his role is seeing the team progress and developing new leaders, he loves seeing graduates develop into managers and even Directors. Almost all of the managers in Hong Kong were grown organically and it’s something he is very proud of. He also loves the fast pace of the recruitment industry as he thrives in this environment.
Outside of work, Peter has a passion for running and runs most days as a great tool to unwind. He is also all about balance, as he also enjoys a good old cold pint of IPA. Peter’s favourite thing is spending time with his daughter, whether they are playing golf, tennis, going on bike rides or watching films.
