Overview

We are seeking a senior leader to develop and scale strategic broking partnerships across the insurance ecosystem. You will own the partner strategy and commercial outcomes, strengthen distribution capability, and ensure partner propositions meet regulatory, operational and customer standards in Singapore and the wider region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the broking partnership strategy, target operating model and growth plan.
  • Lead sourcing, due diligence, onboarding and governance of broking partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, remuneration structures, service levels and data-sharing arrangements.
  • Drive product placement, pipeline performance and joint business planning with key partners.
  • Oversee partner performance management, MI reporting, compliance oversight and remediation actions.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, legal, risk, finance and operations to deliver seamless end-to-end journeys.
  • Ensure adherence to MAS regulations, conduct standards, AML/KYC expectations and data protection requirements.
  • Manage partner training, distribution readiness, and proposition updates including renewals and market cycles.
  • Represent the business at industry forums and maintain strong market intelligence on competitor positioning.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in insurance broking partnerships, distribution, or commercial leadership within the insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth through partner channels and complex stakeholder management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and placement processes; familiarity with regional markets preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating contracts, remuneration models and service agreements.
  • Working knowledge of MAS regulatory expectations, conduct risk and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills, comfortable using data to drive decisions and performance.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at executive level.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant professional insurance qualifications are advantageous.
