Strong relationships, sustainable growth.
Distribution is built on relationships that last, whether they run through an agency force, a bank partnership, a broker’s client portfolio or a multinational corporation’s benefits programme. With the right people leading them, channels grow without losing quality, partners stay aligned on conduct and outcomes, and clients renew because the advice holds up. For leadership, that means steady new business, healthy persistency and distribution that keeps pace with strategy.
We’re a specialist Distribution & Broking recruitment agency in Singapore, finding agency, bancassurance, broking and production, channel, employee benefits and financial adviser professionals who build lasting client and partner relationships and grow distribution responsibly.
Distribution & broking recruitment for brokers, insurers and MGAs
Each of our consultants specialises in one area of the insurance market rather than working as a generalist. In distribution and broking, that means keeping our market knowledge current every day. We track how digital advice tools, embedded insurance and regional benefits platforms are reshaping teams, how new roles like partnership distribution leads and multinational benefits consultants are defined, and how pay is moving. Your brief starts from shared understanding and up-to-date market intelligence.
For senior appointments, our executive search extends to Heads of Distribution, Chief Distribution Officers and Chief Partnership Officers. At that level, leadership and organisational influence matter as much as channel background.
The strongest hires add value beyond their job description, so we look at the whole picture. Technical capability is the foundation. That covers product and placement knowledge across life, general and health lines, an understanding of channel economics, and the CMFAS modules a role requires. Alongside it, we look for:
- Conduct: a record of fair dealing and advice that stands up to review
- Partnership: credibility with bank partners, adviser firms, insurers and clients alike
- Continuity: relationships and teams that stay strong through change
Every candidate is screened by a market-expert consultant who looks beyond job titles and certifications to what they have built, grown and retained.
We recruit across insurance distribution, from production through to channel leadership:
- Agency: agency leaders, agency development and recruitment managers, and business development managers supporting tied agency forces.
- Bancassurance: bancassurance and partnership managers through to heads of bancassurance.
- Broking & Production: account executives, brokers, account directors and new business producers across commercial, specialty and personal lines.
- Channel: channel and partnership distribution managers covering adviser firms, digital and affinity partners.
- Employee Benefits: client managers, benefits consultants and regional benefits leads across group health and benefits programmes.
- Financial Adviser: practice managers, adviser firm leaders and distribution heads for advice-led businesses.
If you’re building distribution in-house at an insurer or reinsurer, our conversations focus on channel strategy, culture and long-term fit as much as individual production. We’ll help you decide where permanent leadership matters most and where contract support can steady a channel through change. We can also help you sequence hires across agency, bancassurance and partnership teams.
If you’re a broker, employee benefits consultancy or financial adviser firm, we keep things client-led and portfolio-focused. Candidates need to be credible with your clients from day one. Requirements such as the relevant CMFAS modules and representative registration with MAS can be specific. We work to those requirements, alongside notice periods and Employment Pass considerations for overseas hires.
We offer permanent, contract and executive search hiring. See our permanent recruitment and contract hiring pages for more detail.
We support global insurers and the businesses that work alongside them:
- Global insurers: life, general and health insurers developing agency, bancassurance and partnership channels.
- Insurtech: digital and insurtech units within global insurers, building online and embedded distribution.
- Re-Insurance: reinsurers strengthening client and broker relationships across the region.
- Brokers: global and regional insurance brokers across commercial, specialty and employee benefits lines.
- Professional Services: employee benefits consultancies and financial adviser firms.
- FMCG & Consumer Goods: in-house benefits and insurance teams within multinational corporations.
Distribution hires carry your brand into every client and partner conversation, so the fit needs to be right on conduct and culture as well as results. Before anyone reaches your interview stage, our consultants explore what candidates have built, grown and retained. They also look at how candidates have worked with partners and how they approach fair dealing.
We share current salary insight, realistic availability and a clear view of how similar profiles are moving in Singapore, so you can plan with confidence. Our Singapore team works closely with our UK and Hong Kong insurance teams, which helps when a search reaches across regions. Our network of 900,000+ candidates includes professionals who aren’t actively looking or visible on job boards.
Distribution & broking market intelligence
Licensing sits at the base of every distribution hire, so we confirm the CMFAS modules a role needs early. That might be M5, M9 and M9A for advice-led channels, HI for health and benefits work, or BCP, PGI and ComGI for general insurance broking. CII and Singapore College of Insurance qualifications add depth for broking and benefits leadership.
Beyond the certificates, our consultants explore how candidates have worked within MAS conduct expectations, including the balanced scorecard framework and fair dealing outcomes. We also look at how they’ve used CRM and digital advice tools to manage pipelines and partners. For channel and leadership roles, we look at experience of partner governance, incentive design and the data that shows a channel is growing well.
Distribution and broking pay in Singapore rises with seniority, channel responsibility and the size of the portfolio or partnership a role carries. Regional scope or accountability across several channels can move a role towards the upper end of its band. As a guide, monthly base salaries are:
- Account Executive / Broking Associate: S$3,800 - S$5,500
- Manager / Senior Broker: S$5,500 - S$9,000
- Assistant Director / Account Director: S$9,000 - S$13,500
- Director / Head of Distribution: S$13,500 - S$20,000
- Managing Director / Practice Leader: S$20,000 - S$28,000
- Chief Distribution / Partnership Officer: S$28,000 - S$45,000+
These figures are base salary only. Commission, incentives and bonus can form a meaningful part of distribution packages, and the mix varies by channel.

AI is bringing governance into the distribution conversation. Insurers, brokers and adviser firms are bringing AI into lead generation, needs analysis, quoting and renewals. As they do, the question for distribution leaders moves from what the tools can do to how their use is overseen.
MAS’s Guidelines on AI Risk Management, issued in October 2026, set expectations for board and senior management oversight across insurers, brokers and financial adviser firms. They take effect from October 2027. Client data used by these tools also needs to be handled within Singapore’s personal data protection rules.
For hiring, that puts value on distribution professionals who can explain how AI-supported advice stays fair and suitable. It also favours those who can train teams to use new tools well and keep partners confident as processes change. When you’re interviewing, asking candidates how they’ve introduced a new tool to an agency force or partner network can tell you a lot.
The strongest distribution professionals weigh more than the headline package. When we introduce your role, we explore what matters to each candidate. That can include how incentives are structured, the product shelf they’ll work with, the quality of partners and clients, and the route from production into leadership.
We can share how similar roles are positioned across insurers, brokers and adviser firms, so your offer reflects current market conditions. For senior hires, we also look at what will keep the appointment working well beyond the first year. That means the support around them, the decisions they’ll own and how their success will be measured.
