An exciting Trade Services Associate opportunity has recently opened at a leading global bank. Our client is ranked as one of the top 15 largest banks in the world with presence in more than 40 countries.
Key Responsibilities
The role of the incumbent will include:
- Process and handle Trade related transactions (e.g. invoice and freight financing, collections and trust receipts)
- Ensure all transactions and tasks assigned are carried out in accordance with the operating and compliance procedures
- End to end processing of import/export letter of credit transactions including document checking
- Conduct screenings for AML or country sanctions
- Escalate errors/operational risks incidents to manager
- Conduct checks on documents according to assigned authority
- Follow up and monitor any outstanding cases
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of trade finance/services experience
- Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) will be an added advantage
- ONLY Singaporeans/PRs will be considered
