HR Generalist /People Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees

  • Assist with performance management, including performance evaluations and goal-setting
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to employment and labor laws
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and practices
  • Assist with HR-related training and development programs
  • Support Ad-hoc duties when required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist role
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Experience in a tech start up or related field a plus
