AVP, Group Agency Development Lead Strategy (MDRT)

This established International Life Group office is looking for a dynamic and transformational leader to take up a crucial strategic role in the design and delivery of 'Group wide' strategy with the focus on making their agency force best of class. The focus will be the development of agent productivity and overall channel profitability to achieve ambitious business growth objectives.

This role is a core part of Group Chief of Agency Distribution team and supporting overall Group Distribution business objectives.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Deliver APE and VNB by growing of MDRT qualifiers and 'Best of the Best' Agent attributes.
  • Enhance Productivity by promoting MDRT and performance culture with more effective sales process
  • Improve VNB Margin by optimising product portfolio and suitable solutions address customer needs
  • Significantly increase Agency channel VNB through enhancing agent's activity and productivity with continuously optimising product portfolios and solutions
  • Significantly increase number of Active Agents by designing and applying creative and suitable campaigns at both Group and Local Office levels
  • Increase digital tools adoption ratio to improve business effectiveness and efficiency
  • Strengthen Group Distribution strategic planning and governance framework
  • Collaborating with Group Distribution and other stakeholders to deliver groupwide strategic plan for Agency channels
  • Support Local offices to design and implement effective Agency sales proposition, process and model
  • Support Local offices to design and implement Agency ongoing training strategy and roadmap
  • Lead cross-function initiatives to continuously design and implement digital solutions that enhance agency activity and productivity
  • Monitor and review Agency channel performance, especially for active agents and productivity, and provide timely analytics, business insights and strategic guidance and tactical support to deliver business targets
  • Facilitate best practices sharing across countries and lead to build up leadership and performance management capability for Local offices

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • University degree or above, and majored in Business, Commerce, Actuary, or equivalent is preferred
  • At least 10 years' leadership experience and track records in life insurance sector; Leadership of an Agency channel in an Asian country level is a plus
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, insurance Agency sales and management
  • Competencies in Agency management with deep knowledge in Agency compensation, Agency sales promotion, MDRT culture promotion, agency recruitment, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge in industry digital trends, best practices and business models
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen
  • Strong communication skill, influential e and persuasive, particularly with C-level stakeholders
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies, framework, and standards.
